Okay, so I knew that I wouldn't be any good at keeping a blog! I did have a great retreat with Robin Chaddock a year ago, even if I didn't blog about it. Maybe I'll get around to writing about it someday, but if not, oh well.
I did feel like putting some pictures from our latest vacation on here. A couple of weeks ago, Kevin & I drove to Georgia to spend the weekend with my brother, Nick, his wife, Mandy, and our nephew, Dylan. We had a great time...except that Dylan fell when we were playing at the playground and had to get stitches under his lip! Poor buddy! He's doing much better now and the stitches are out.
After time with the fam, we drove on down to Daytona Beach, FL where we spent most of our time relaxing in the hotel room because
the weather wasn't great. We did take time to visit a lighthouse & museum, attend a Hawaiian dinner theatre, and eat at some great seafood restaurants. (We even tried fried alligator! Mmmm...gator bites!) We did manage to enjoy 3 hours on the beach when the weather was perfect the day we were headed home.

big shout out also goes to Amy & Steve Kannel for opening their house for us to sleep at on our way home. Unfortunately, they already had plans, so we didn't get to visit with them. But, it was very nice for them to allow us to crash their place for the night.
